Effective January 9 2006, I will be taking on a new position as Director, DPE Emerging Business reporting to Cliff Reeves. I have enjoyed the ISV Mission tremendously over the last two and a half years. During my tenure in the ISV mission, I spoke to an estimated 400 ISVs of various types and sizes; assisting many form strategic partnerships with Microsoft and getting them to build on our latest and greatest technologies. I would like to thank the Director of my previous team - Jim Lisiak for putting together a world class organization that not only delivered fantastic results, but created the environment for individuals to be creative and pursue both the Microsoft objectives and their own dreams. Huge thanks to my former manager Michael Acosta for being one of the best managers I have ever worked with. The experience I had with Michael has created a life time of positive memories . Also thanks to Joe Bernisky my first manager, for taking a chance on me! I would also like to thank all my other Microsoft DPE peers – Albert Ho (who is soon to join the XBox team), Adam Seligman - Enterprise Strategy Advisor for being a great mentor and friend and all my other ISV DE peers – Warren Wilbee (you rock!) , Suresh Sreedharan, John Shipway, Gene Webb, Alex Jauch and all my colleagues at the Silicon Valley MTC My new role has me working with the Startup and Venture capitalist community where I will continue my passion of working with ISVs. This opportunity is an exciting one because it not only allows me to continue my passion of working with ISVs,but allows growth in several areas of interest. The new role offers a combination of business development and technology, working with the Enterprise, Vertical Industry Units, Venture Capitalist and the investment community. I will also be analyzing new investment trends and making recommendations for future partnerships and acquisitions.
This work was tremendously rewarding in many respects – I had the opportunity to work with many talented individuals in the Microsoft DPE organization, many product groups and several organizations in the Norcal district that work with ISVs and the Enterprise.
Bow!!! send me a mail! We just found your ugly face!
