Biography
Rodney Bowen-Wright is a Director of Business Development at Microsoft and manages Vertical Markets, Cloud and Mobility portfolios globally in the Strategic and Emerging Business Group.
The Microsoft Emerging Business Group is a corporate function chartered to source, recruit and incubate next generation businesses and business models across market domains globally. This includes diverse areas like Digital Media, Mobility and Business Applications.
Rodney is currently one of seven panelists in the Microsoft BizSpark One program which selects new and innovative companies and chartered to find Microsoft’s next big technology bets. The team currently manages a diverse portfolio of companies across domains including Digital Media,Enterprise, Gaming, Online and Cloud based businesses.
Interests
I am very much into fitness, physical exercise and sports. I play tennis a few times a week, Weight Lifting 4 times a week and skating once a week. I also believe in mental exercise - stretching ones self to the next level, and clearing "mind clutter" by meditation.
